The Modern Monster, group show,
curated by Jeanne Gerrity.
Works by five artists that express the same sense of violence and foreboding that fuels horror films.
The works in the exhibition either project back filmic monsters through a critical lens,
or they explore the mysterious, and often ominous, suggestion of an internal aggressor.
The works somberly portend doom, but they do so with humor and compelling insights on the
current state of humanity.
